Fuck this, I`m sticking with comfortable daily disposable contacts. I`ll wait at least until the technology improves even more, which I`m sure it will. The thought of a Lasek flap, hmm no thanks. What if your eye goes really dry and your eye lid sticks to the flap and loosens the flap, or something hits your eye hard. Nasty shit.

@MooMooKTProductions I felt a strange icy cold, exposed feeling at the part where they peel back the cornea otherwise you dont feel anything...you're awake but on a relaxing pill and also eye anaesthetic...it did hurt for me the following week but after that no problems

@JimmySpangle also they test your eyesight over 2 years and test and test and test so extremely likely to get the script wrong but if it does happen they can laser you again.

@JimmySpangle the machine follows your eye movement...for some people the distress of glasses and contact lenses are more than enough to desire this procedure...I can understand where you're coming from though - watching this makes me cringe n rub my eyes in memory haha

i had LASEK with wavefront 3 days ago. its not so much painfull but very uncomfortable. you know whats going on but cant rally feel it. it knocked me a bit sick. had a cup of tea after it and sat down. my sight still blurry so hopefully it will be good soon. i didnt get any sleep last night as i was in so much pain. feels like something stuck in your eye. today has been better and im going back tomorrow to get the protective lense taken out.

I couldn't bear to watch this video through (ha ha ha). I had Lasek about 4 years ago. I am very happy with my vision. I do have problems with dry eyes, but so did I with contact lenses. I have halos at night while driving, but so did I with glasses and contacts. To be able to see 20/15 is absolutely amazing. It changed my life for the better! Just wanted to add something positive for those considering this procedure.

Laser tracks eye movements,,,if eye is not positioned correctly,,it wont allow laser to fire..simple |
