As an example, let's imagine you have an antique Japanese bowl to auction.

In the auction creation process you select the top level category of Antiques, then you select the appropriate second level category of Asian Antiques, and so on.

After making your selections at each level, this is the category where your auction resides:

Antiques, Asian Antiques, Japanese, Bowls

Actually, this is a fantastic category to be in.

Why?

Well, although you didn't know it at the time you placed your item , this category currently happens to be "hot". This means it will attract more activity than thousands of other categories.

How do I know this category is hot?
